Yes it's an extra capital expense, but if it means that one bus route can be run instead of three (ie 219, 428 and an extra, likely low patronage, service for Warmington Rd then it would be worth it. And the effect on traffic, being actuated only every 20 min, would be minimal. <br /><br />Another possibility could be means for the buses to turn around at the end of Cannon. There's backtracking but it brings buses about 100m closer to Warmington etc. Sold as a means of PT to Buckingham Reserve.
