1. Board any Sydenham line (or is that Watergardens?) train.
2. Stay on the train until it terminates. Don't worry if you missed seeing the station named Sydenham because there isn't one!
3. Go up to the concourse, pass the waiting area and turn right.
4. The shopping centre (after which the station was named) looks enticingly close across the paddock. Go down the steps and cross at the pedestrian crossing.
5. There are two 'approved' ways to reach the shopping centre. You could wait for a bus. Or walk north and then south again along designated footpaths. Both take too long. Hence most people take the short cut pictured here, thanks to a convenient break in the fence. Don't attempt this if in a wheelchair, though!
